With a fervent passion for computer science, coupled with diverse industry experiences, including roles at Oracle and Mastercard AI Garage, I am deeply engaged in advancing the frontiers of knowledge at the intersection of cutting-edge technologies and innovative methodologies. My journey has seen me contribute to pioneering advancements in large language models, reinforcement learning techniques, and transformative projects in fraud detection and AI-based applications. Committed to continuous learning and a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry trends, I aspire to continue making meaningful contributions to research and driving technological innovation forward.

2024

As a Senior Applied Scientist at Oracle, my focus lies in the realm of large language models (LLMs). Within Oracle’s innovative environment, I am tasked with evaluating these models and agents, while also leveraging reinforcement learning (RL) techniques to enhance their capabilities. This involves designing experiments, developing intelligent agents, and exploring novel RL methods to optimize LLM performance. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, I strive to translate cutting-edge research into practical solutions, driving progress within Oracle’s technology landscape.

2022-2023

As a Senior Data Scientist at Mastercard AI Garage, transformative efforts were led to enhance account intelligence scores for issuing banks, a $20 million product for Mastercard. Through innovative techniques like EDA, pseudo-graph, and target encoding, a significant four-fold increase in fraud capture rate was achieved by improving AI scores for account reload and reissuance. Additionally, a unique recalibration method based on issuing banks’ event rate was devised, bolstering customer retention. Furthermore, pivotal contributions were made in developing generative AI-based applications, including an end-to-end internal chatbot, interactive dashboards, and a multimodal chatbot. Notably, the deployment of graph neural networks (GNN) for fraud prediction earned recognition with the esteemed AI Excellence Award for Quarter 2 2023.
